You think you have a lead generation problem but actually...

A lack of leads isn't the problem, it's a symptom.

Every day I see these problems REPEL leads, especially #6!

1. You don't know who your marketing is for

90% of business owners can't describe their ideal client.

People think, "I need to cast a wide net" but as a small business you need to speak to a SMALL niche to slice through the noise.

2. You're coming off desperate

Humans are born with built-in alarm bells that go off when you feel needy. When you push, convince, chase, talk fast, or use false urgency, those sirens start wailing.

3. You sound like everyone else

In 1985 you were selling alongside your neighbour. In 2025 you're selling alongside world-class sellers. Buyers have seen it all, and they have options.

You need to offer some kind of unique insight or unusual voice to be heard. This is why AI SUCKS at writing marketing copy. And this is why your authentic, weirdo voice is the key you're missing.

4. You're not believable

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Stop making wild promises AND stop doubting yourself. The sweet, believable spot is somewhere in the middle.

5. You don't ask for the sale

I've had textbook perfect sales calls that don't end in the sale because I missed one thing. ASKING FOR THE SALE!

Just say, "Would you like to buy this?"

6. Your vibe is off

What's your vibe? It's all of the non-verbal cues you're broadcasting (usually unconsciously) like a radio tower.

It's your posture, tone of voice, the unmade bed in the background of your videos, your lack of/overabundance of eye contact. It's the secret you're hiding, that isn't really hidden. It's your doubt, low self-worth, lack of faith.

This one is the hardest to fix because you can't see it in yourself. But I'm doing it every day with clients by providing them a mirror into those unconscious bad vibes.

So find yourself a mirror.
